On February 8th 2015 I weighed myself, I look down and the scale read 294 lbs., at that point I decided it was time for a lifestyle change. My wife had started a program a week earlier called Shape Reclaimed and was already seeing results after one week. I did some research and two days later I started the same program. I’m 54 years old and have been on just about every diet that exists throughout my adult life. Over the years I have developed numerous health problems ranging from high blood pressure, joint pain, tingling down the legs, shortness of breath, sleep apnea, and more. On September 12, 2015 I hit my goal weight of 174 lbs., in seven short months I lost 120 lbs. I’ve eliminated and or reduced my medications, no longer have tingling in the legs, no shortness of breath, I sleep great, my blood pressure is normal, and no more joint pain. WOW! I feel 18 again, energy through the roof, I can go for long distance walks or hikes (3 to 10 miles). I went from a size 46” waist to a 30” waist. By-the-way my wife in the same time frame has lost a total of 85 lbs. and she is smoking hot.
If you want to lose weight, key word want I certainly would recommend this program. It’s as easy as it gets. You eat real food that you can get in every grocery store.
One of the best things is that you don’t need to do is exercise and weight continues to come off, but let me tell you after you start feeling better you can’t help yourself but to start with some sort of exercise. I just started to walk in my neighborhood and today I take walks and hikes with ease.
The next phase of my new health is maintenance of my weight it’s been 2 months and still doing great.
The hard part is to walk outside because it gets dark to early so we go the mall and walk around and shop for new clothes right off rack, that’s a good feeling.
